Every ministry exists to fulfill God's mission, yet effective ministry requires more than activity—it requires biblical purpose, theological conviction, and a clearly defined philosophy of ministry. This course helps students develop a biblical framework for understanding why the Church exists, what ministry should accomplish, and how every ministry activity should align with the Great Commission and the Great Commandment.

Students will evaluate various ministry models, examine the biblical foundations of church leadership, discipleship, worship, missions, and pastoral care, and formulate a philosophy of ministry rooted in Scripture rather than cultural trends. Practical discussions will challenge students to assess the strengths and weaknesses of contemporary ministry approaches while remaining faithful to biblical principles.

By the end of the course, students will produce a personal philosophy of ministry that integrates biblical theology, leadership principles, and practical ministry experience. This philosophy will serve as a guiding framework for future pastoral leadership, church planting, missions, Christian education, and organizational decision-making.
