The Biblical Foundation of Christian Leadership
Leading Others with Wisdom and Servanthood
Biblical leadership is fundamentally different from worldly leadership. Jesus demonstrated servant leadership, calling His followers to lead through humility, integrity, wisdom, and faithful stewardship. This course explores biblical models of leadership by examining the lives of Moses, Joshua, Nehemiah, David, Jesus Christ, Paul, and other influential leaders whose ministries shaped God's people throughout history.
Students will study leadership principles including vision casting, team building, conflict resolution, decision making, mentoring, organizational development, communication, and spiritual formation. Special attention is given to developing Christlike character, emotional maturity, accountability, and servant leadership as essential qualities for effective ministry leadership.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be equipped to lead churches, ministry organizations, Bible study groups, and mission teams with biblical wisdom and practical competence. They will understand how healthy leadership strengthens the local church, develops future leaders, and advances God's Kingdom through collaborative ministry.
